Orcas are also known as killer whales, and Orca classroom at UTCS is dedicated to taming the “killer” instinct common in 3 and 4 year old children. This is a process which includes equipping them with self-help and social skills.  The children are involved in daily activities that promote individual skills that are then utilized in group play and problem solving.

The Orca classroom is organized into seven specific activity areas: sensory, science, drama, large motor skills, manipulative skills, literacy and art.  In each of the areas, and in the ways they connect and overlap, the children Two kids readingexplore and expand their abilities alongside their peers and teachers.

Our children leave the Orca room empowered as individuals, able to communicate more clearly, and are better equipped to navigate their world independently and with confidence.
